Mala Pirešica is a settlement in the lower valley of the river Savinja in the Žalec municipality in east-central Slovenia. The A1 motorway crosses the territory of the settlement to the south of the village core. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]
A small roadside chapel in the settlement dates to the earlz 20th century.[3]
